St. Joseph’s
Medical Clinic was
opened in 1995 inside the Village.
Located on four acres, the new 13,000 square
foot facility is designed for expansion to meet future
growth of the area.
The Village Diagnostic Center, St. Joseph’s
Cardiac Rehabilitation Center, and Village Internal
Medicine are housed in the clinic.
The Village Diagnostic Center offer diagnostic
laboratories, x-ray, mammography, and CT services.
St. Joseph’s Cardiac Center offers on-site
stress testing as well as rehabilitation services.
Also housed in the clinic are two ophthalmology
and two physical medicine rooms.
In
1994, the National
Park Medical Center opened
an urgent care clinic across from the main gate of the
Village. The
clinic provides full family health care services
including lab and x-ray.
The staff, which includes two full-time
physicians, offers walk-in emergency department
services.
For
long-term care, there is the Good
Samaritan Campus.
This facility includes 82 independent living
apartments and a 40-bed nursing home.
They also offer assisted living apartments. Many Village residents choose “Good Sam” for recuperation
following surgery or a serious illness.
Others take advantage of the independent living
apartments by moving an older relative to the
facility.
There
are excellent health care facilities in nearby Hot
Springs. Three
